Unlimited Play Center at North Park

Envision provided full service electrical engineering for the new accessible park designed by landscape architects, G. Brown Design. Electrical plans and specifications to meet the electrical power needs for the park were provided which included the engineering calculations and design of power distribution and controls for lighting throughout play areas and pathways, in addition to providing electricity for park pavilions and maintenance buildings on site.

The new all-inclusive, accessible playground was designed to replace the aging play equipment at the park. Large, mature trees throughout the park provided design challenges, but also great design opportunities. The design team worked closely with City, as well as a special community design committee to develop a new play environment with equitable play opportunities for individuals of all abilities.
