This $2.5 million project consists of an emergency operations facility constructed by the Division of Facilities Construction and Management for various agencies including the Bureau of Land Management, United States Forest Service, and Forest Fire and State Lands. The three agencies collaborated to bring about a state-of-the-art facility capable of providing the necessary coordination in fighting wildfires throughout Utah. Spaces consist of an attack floor, multi-purpose rooms, radio room, exercise room, break room, restrooms, offices, server room, conference room, utility rooms, and reception area.
Envision provided extensive electrical engineering and related services for the unique function of this important public safety/first-responder facility, including: uninterruptible power supply, emergency back-up generator, communication tower, comprehensive security system, Motorola radio and special telecommunications needs, daylight study and harvesting controls, low voltage blinds, and a lightning protection system.
