Box Elder Public Safety Building

Box Elder County | Brigham City, Utah

The completion of the Box Elder Public Safety Building marks a significant milestone in enhancing public safety infrastructure for Box Elder County. Located in Brigham City, Utah, this 20,822-square-foot facility brings together the Highway Patrol, Department of Public Safety (DPS) Emergency Communications, and Driver License Divisions under one roof. Designed with operational efficiency in mind, the building includes dedicated spaces for each division, along with shared amenities such as training rooms, fitness areas, and break spaces to foster collaboration.

Envision Engineering delivered essential electrical engineering solutions, ensuring robust power distribution, efficient lighting systems, and seamless integration of advanced low-voltage electronic systems. The design also included detailed rough-ins to support telecommunications, internet/WiFi networks, audio-visual systems, and electronic safety/security features. Renewable energy provisions were incorporated to promote sustainability and meet future energy demands.

A standout feature of this project is the integration of a radio tower, designed to meet specific RF pathway requirements and adhere to stringent L3 Harris grounding standards. Envision Engineering’s meticulous approach ensured that these and other complex systems were executed flawlessly. This project provided valuable insights into cutting-edge design standards for RF line entrances and advanced grounding systems, enriching our expertise for future projects.

By consolidating essential services into a single, cohesive space, the Box Elder Public Safety Building significantly improves emergency response and driver services, meeting the needs of the region's rapidly growing population.
